Gope is probably the most well-known name in Samba percussion. Mr Humberto started Gope almost 50 years ago, and has developed his range of traditional Brasilian instruments for the world market. Everything is made in his factory in Embu Guacu, just south of the tropic of Capricorn, which takes product from design to final production all under one roof.
